Be found ready for a pleasant reward We have
many testimonies of various things that encourages people to press on during the
tough times. These testimonies help persuade people that they might endure until
the time of rewarding. However, we have an enemy in the world who preys on the
lust that is in the flesh. The enemy try to wake us up and cause us to be
concerned about what the flesh wants that we might be off base when rewarding
time comes.
God is an unchangeable God and He is exact. God
does not take it if it is almost, but it has to be exact. He is a precise God.
Therefore, no matter how much good you have done, when He comes to reward you,
even if you were perfect until the last second of His coming and you forfeit,
then He will look at it as if you have no done anything. Matthew 24:48 "But
and it that evil servant shall say in his heart, my Lord delayeth His coming;
And shall smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The
Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an
hour he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, an appoint him his portion
with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
So it is not wise for us to take this life that God
has blessed us with and not become perfect and complete in Christ. Once complete
in Christ, we must maintain this position and be found so doing upon His return
to receive a peaceable reward.
