Below
are summations of a few of our fundamental beliefs.
One Church
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the church that
everyone should be a member of. The scripture states that Jesus Christ told the
apostles: "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto
the end of the world." Matthew 28:19
So this mean that everyone has to be in the same church the
apostles were in and believe, preach and practice the same things the apostles
did.
Though some say the word "Apostolic" is not biblical, if
you are not apostolic then you are not in God's church. Jesus was the first one
in the church and He first declared the gospel and was the first one to practice
the faith. Jesus Christ then delivered it to the apostles and told them to take it
to all nations. So if you are not contending for the faith of the apostles, then
you are not in the church God established.
Jesus Christ is God
There is only one God and Jesus Christ is his name and beside
him there is none. There is only one Spirit and entity by
whom all power dwells. See Mark 12:29 "And Jesus
answered him, The first of all commandments is, Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God
is one LORD." Ephesians 4:5 "One LORD, one
faith, one baptism." And also John 10:30, Jesus Christ stated:
"I and my Father are one."

Water Baptism
Everyone must be baptized in water in the name of Jesus
Christ for the remission of sins in order to be saved. One also must be buried
in water as a proper baptism. Acts 2:38 "Then Peter
said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus
Christ for the remission of sins.." Matthew 28:19
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
See Acts 8:36 And as the eunuch said to Philip,
"See, here is water, what doth hinder me to be baptized?" Also
see John
3:5 and Mark 1:10 "And straightway coming up out of the
water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon
him:.."

Baptism of the Holy Ghost
All believers must receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The
initial evidence of this is speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God give
utterance. See John 3:5 "Jesus answered, Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he
cannot enter into the kingdom of God." See Acts 2:4
"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and
began speaking with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
See Acts 19:2 "He said unto them, Have ye
received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?

Modest Apparel
The saints of God should not adorn themselves in a flashy or
worldly manner, but in moderation. See I Peter 3:3
"Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting of the hair, and
of wearing of gold or of putting on of apparel;.." Also see I
Timothy 2:9, "In like manner also, that women adorn
themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety, not with broided
hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array."

Head Covering
According to the scriptures, men ought not to cover his head
when praying or prophesying. To do so would be to dishonor his head.
Women on the other hand when praying or prophesying should cover her head. To
not do so would
be to dishonor her head. The hair is given for a covering and is not the
covering itself. See I Corinthians 11:4-16 "Every
man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. But
every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her
head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not
covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or
shaven, let her be covered."
